.. and oh yeah, two thumbs up for Michelle Phan for using this song on her red lipstick vid. This awesome vid reminds me of how it feels good to be a woman and to do the things we love, even those things that we are not expected to be doing. This is a good motivation for my first half marathon this May for the Sundown Marathon. Am claiming that I can finish the race. Ruzz and Jaren, LET’S DO THIS! I know we can. ♥♥♥

i have always been a big fan of red lipstick and it’s my fave shade cuz it compliments my full lips. It has done a great job of cheering me up everytime am down and for making me feel beautiful. :) I ♥ how Michelle Phan showcased the different types of red lipstick on her lips for International Women’s Day. I just love being a woman!.. and I could say, i can rock red lips. ♥♥♥

Reading John Moe’s tweet made me wish that my friend Minette saw this. i really wish she had made a different choice. i miss you terribly Minette. :(
Late last night, writer, husband, father, and brother John Moe posted a series of tweets. We don’t know him and he didn’t at-reply us, but he said a lot of true things, things we believe in, things he promised he would always remember to say after he lost his brother Rick to suicide in 2007, things we want to share with you. May this be a spark of hope for you today. Please read from the bottom of the tweets up to have the correct order.
yey for wolfgang who graced us with their presence in the Powerhouse stage of esplanade for Baybeats 2011. a lot of their kababayans have swarmed up the space allotted for powerhouse audience and have sang phenomenally with Wolfgang’s Acoustica version of Halik Ni Hudas playing at the background while waiting for their set at 8:30 pm. crowd was crazy when the guys went out: mon legaspi holding the bass, francis aquino went to his post, papa manuel legarda picked up his guitar and basti artadi facing the mic. i forgot the sequence of the songs and from what i remember, the songs include sanctified, mata ng diyos, natutulog kong mundo, weightless, darkness fell, ibrahim (new song from 2007 album), arise and of course, halik ni hudas as their last song. francis have banged the drums so hard that he broke one of it so they paused for awhile and manuel started to play the guitars for darkness fell… and so as expected, a lot of girls were getting ready to sing the song. unfortunately , it doesn’t include me cuz am so busy shooting r and m ’ s vid which i found fascinating cuz they are not the usual “rock chick” who will just throw their heads out and sing a rock song, but yeah, they did, for darkness fell. ha! chaos started when 2 guys have started slam dancing while creating a big space that made one guy rushed over our place and stand beside j. kaya pala napatakbo si koya samen. haha.
had a hard time taking pictures because of the slam dancing, hands raising and of course, me dancing, jumping, singing and enjoying the show. thank you wolfgang for visiting us here in singapore. you just made me live my manila life here in singapore. am so happy that i shared this with all my loves! you all know who you are, my beautiful usual suspects! really had fun with you guys last night. love y’all . thanks to mader j for helping me take some pics too .
rakenrol!

PULAU UBIN PART II: SKELETONS
I tried my luck again in making the same vid in HD without being pixelated. I tried importing the videos in full and exporting it using quicktime;
compression type: MPEG-4 Video;
Quality: best; format: AAC;
Render Settings quality: best;
Target Bit Rate 128 kbps;
Size: 1280 x 720.
I also added some filters in the beginning clip and title at the beginning and credits at the end. Slowly learning to navigate imovie. :)
A simple vid of my Pulau Ubin trip with friends. Some of the shots were pixelated after the export. :(
